Guesthouse Makry was perfect for our stay in Kryezi. The family owning the guesthouse are very friendly, welcoming and were ready to help if we needed anything. The room was nicely appointed, very clean and very comfortable. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. There’s an awesome walk to a waterfall from the property. A good place to stay if you are planning a boat trip on Komani Lake and Shala River. There is a small pool here and it is a great opportunity to relax after a hot day. The hotel is perfectly situated with quick and easy access to the boat station, great restaurants, and local stores. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming – they went above and beyond to help us, even finding a pharmacy when we weren’t feeling well. Truly exceptional service in a spectacular setting. The place has an amazing terrace under the grapes to chill in the shade or spend Your evening looking at the sunset over the mountains. Also, the host is also amazing! He greeted us with coffee, the room was already air conditioned which was a big bonus (outside it was 39°C) and cold water bottles were waiting for us in the fridge. We came to visit Koman lake via boat tour and the host was very gracious and drove us to the ferry point free of charge 👌 The room was clean, had all amenities, with the kitchenette outside in the shade. If You come late, on the terrace there is a fridge with cold drinks to purchase.
