Beautiful courtyard. Weather wasn’t great but the environment could not have been better. On a side street so not much foot traffic outside, but you’re completely enclosed in the courtyard when inside. I was the only guest at the time, so I had full attention from the staff as well as complete privacy besides the three workers including the landlord, who came to spend time on the property at night. I can speak Chinese so I spent time with the workers drinking tea and chatting. I could not have asked for a better stay in Dali. It was everything I imagined and more.

The front desk staff were very welcoming. The location is excellent with convenient transportation, yet it is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Great location, convenient to walk around but very quiet for a good sleep. The girl is very friendly and helpful, she helped us with our luggage and taxi booking when we needed to go to the railway station early in the morning. Everything is perfect & we would love to stay again here.

I had a very comfortable private room with a private bath for a very good price. The location is right across the street from the ancient town and if you want to go into the city it is very easy to catch a bus. The girl that works there speaks English and she is very nice and helpful. The hostel is back from the main road so it's very quiet. They even have umbrellas you can borrow which was nice because it was raining during my visit. I loved that there was an electric blanket and a small reading light by the bed. That was excellent.

Friendly accommodating staff that helped us navigate the town. Comfortable beds and ample space in the bedroom. Nice hot water in the shower. Views from the upstairs terrace were nice to take in the mountains and surrounding countryside overlooking the town.

The room is just as the picture shown, very cozy!!! The owners are very nice!
