The staff were unbelievable. In my ignorance I booked a train from Madrid and back. They went on line and searched all the options and showed me how the bus was 60 Euros less and 2 hrs faster. I didn't ask them to do this they just volunteered. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you can.

The room was perfect, confortable, clean. The bathroom was very spacious, clean, and the shower had very good water pressure. The beds were very confortable. It has the perfect localization, in the middle of the historic centre. The restaurant that they indicated was amazing, and they have a discount.

Inside the walls of the medieval city, this hostal was very well situated for sightseeing in the old town of Avila. The cathedral was a 2 minute walk and the entrance to the walk on the walls was just a few minutes away. Most restaurants were within a 5 minute walk and the discounts offered by the hostal saved me money every day.

Hostal Don Diego is centrally located 328 feet inside Avila’s historic walls, and 5 minutes’ walk from the cathedral. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms.

Fantastic location, very nice room perfect for a short stay. The first time my husband has stayed in a hostel. He was very impressed. Lovely staff very helpful.

The hosel was in a fabulous location 100 feet from the wall. It was quiet, clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was not fancy but it was great for a family of 3 adults. The breakfast was simple but very enjoyable. I would recommend to a friend.
