It was wonderful stay! with very kind friendly owner family! We had to leave at 7 am one day of our stay, they made a breakfast for us at 6:30 eventhough the breakfast time is 7:30-10:30! The room is clean and big with great view! They have well maintained garden. We enjoyed breakfast and tea time at garden with view! The shower is very good! Hot shower gave us extra healing! It is 900m from Leh town. It is a nice walk! We really recommed this great guest house!!!

The room was very clean, laundry smell to the sheets, the location was perfect!! 3-4 minute walk to leh market, hot water in the shower. Nice view from our room and from the rooftop aswell. The owner was very kind to us and helpful . We really enjoyed our stay

Great stay in Leh, close to the market, nice, simple clean rooms with wooden accents and cute bedside lamps. Lovely garden on the property. Loved the Korea restaurant in the guesthouse! Very friendly and accomodating staff.

What a wonderful place to stay and even more wonderful hosts... At first we booked this stay only for one night, so we could reset after a series of flight from Europe and a sleepless night spent at the DEL airport. They welcomed us early in the morning and provided us with a calm room, two large bottles of water and a welcome tea. Since we arrived way earlier than check-in time, our room was not ready for moving in, so they provided us with the back-up room, so we could take a rest. We liked their hospitality so much that we immediately booked two more nights at the Castle Rock, so we could acclimatize properly before continuing our trip in Ladakh. On the next day they moved us over to a bigger room with balcony. Rooms are renovated and equipped with everything a western traveler could wish. They even have a working desk if you wish to stay for a longer period and work from there. The bathroom is large and of course it has 24/7 hot water. They have an in-house restaurant for guests and prepare variety of meals on demand. Even late in the evening. Most of the ingredients come from the garden next to the hotel - you can even see the cook going to the garden to pick vegetables for the meal while you wait. The staff is truly wonderful. The owner is very kind and helpful, but two members of the staff from Darjeeling (don't know their names) really stand out. They are so kind, polite and helpful and really want to make you feel at home. In the end of our Ladakh trip we came back there to stay for two more nights. So in the end, what was the "solution for the first night" ended up being our second home in Leh for five nights. + Well furbished rooms + Very nice garden for relaxation + Helpful and kind staff + In-house restaurant + 24/7 hot water and electricity (back-up generator) + Provide ILP for traveling around Ladakh + Two cute dogs + Market across the street + Located in a relatively calm place, 10 minutes walk from the Leh main market

Very clean and well organised room, very kind owners.

Set in the Karzoo away from the touristy area but a short walk to everything. Very peaceful with a lovely garden and fabulous owners. A true Homestay. We had the corner balcony room with a view of the Leh monastery. Try their delicious home cooked food made from what they grow. Highly recommend.

Everything. had a wonderful stay at Glacier View Guest House. The room was big and comfortable. All basic needs were taken care of. The staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly. Staff took care of my needs promptly. Food was very homely and satisfying and tasty. I strongly recommend this place. Don't go for the luxury hotels but go for a home away from home, which is the Glacier View Guest House. I am so thankful to the staff for their service and politeness. A big thank to Umar Bhaiya, Ubaid and Faizal and of course to all the staff. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. I Will 200% recommend this place with family and friends. Of the 10 nights I stayed in Ladakh, this was the best stay I've had. Phunsuk uncle and aunty are amazing hosts, very caring and helpful. The accommodation itself is in a calm, quiet area despite being <1km away from the main market. And the rooms are spacious, ventilated and very clean. Also a big thumbs up to the apricot jam served in the breakfast. If I visit Leh again, I'll look no further. Thanks for the hospitality :)

The hostess was very helpful and friendly. She made sure to check in on me regularly while I was adjusting to the high altitude. The freshly prepared food was delicious.

such friendly people and such a welcoming stay. Ideal location for exploring the city and as a base location to start a trek from. You can walk to shanti stupa and to the fort. you will find lots of yaks and cows and temples along the way. in June, it was very sunny, we enjoyed acclimatising on the balcony a lot haha! My partner got altitude sickness and they were constantly checking in on him when we got back from the mountains! super super sweet owners. if you're still doubting leh or ladakh, trust me when i say you will regret not coming here, it is worth every minute and every penny.

The neighborhood is off the main roads and a short walk from the market, so the area is quiet. The owners helped me tremendously when I had trouble getting a sim card that would work in Ladakh and went above and beyond with other things like rides.

Great location. Feels like an oasis in busy Leh. Very short walk to the main shopping area. Warm welcoming staff. Delicious meals in the garden restaurant. I highly recommend.

Sumita is an outstanding owner and host. She makes the stay incredible. She has an organic garden just outside the door and uses that for her cooking. I reserved a quiet larger room and I got one on the second floor with an outdoor patio veranda with 3 chairs and 2 small tables that looks out to the white-capped mountains and the garden below. You might have to pay more for this spacious room (I don't recall now), but it would be worth it. The bathroom is a western-style toilet and a nice hot shower. Sumita makes different breakfasts, and all have been tasty. You can also request to have lunch or dinner at the guesthouse and generally that is available, homemade and from the garden. It's always been good and at a reasonable cost. Sumita has shown me many kindnesses and reaches out to me on WhatsApp to see if I need anything. I've very much enjoyed my stay here. I also like the location. I choose it because it looked to be out of the crazy busy tourist energy of downtown and the Ley Market area, and I was right. It is generally very quiet here under the hillside of the Shanti Stupa nearby. It's a 20-minute walk to the Leh Market along small and safe streets, or I made a taxi friend and just give him a call to take me places. It's easy for location in my opinion, the view is wonderful, it's quiet, it is nurturing and a homey homestay.
