The property offers an amazing view of the lake and the mountains. The surrounding is beautiful and you can enjoy walking around, having your coffee outside. The property is actually one of the oldest golf clubs and very popular so you will see a lot of players there. Very nice!

Everything is great, fine location, very good staff, especially Sara was super helpful and kind. Rooms were extremely clean, neat, cozy. Location is superb

the location was perfect, close to everything yet not too loud at night. the restaurant outside our window even had nice live music one night. it was very spacious with a large balcony. the kids loved the bunk bed.

This is a hotel with established reputation for many years. It is not very big, nor too fancy, but it delivers exceptional service quality. Small, but clean rooms, great views from the balcony, quiet, professional staff. It has a small beach, with all types of chairs and easy access to the water - we saw many people of all ages going for a swim at all times. There is an option for a small and simple breakfast in AM (including coffee, of course!). It is difficult to say what we enjoyed the most during our stay (only 3 days), but if I would have to pick 2 things it would be the views (especially at night) and the professionalism of the staff.

The host was very kind and responsive throughout our stay and even helped pick us up from Via Statale with our luggage, since we did not have a car. If you enjoy cats, there are a few friendly felines who greet you sometimes in the yard. The location, the price, and the inclusion of the kitchenette with a fridge and freezer make this an exceptional deal. Besides the neighborhood church bell, which rings every half hour between 7am-11pm each day, the location was very peaceful. You can walk down some stairs and reach Via Statale/Via Regina in about 5-7 minutes, where the C110 bus stop, mini grocery store, and restaurants/bars are located. The Canedabbia ferry was out of operation when we visited, but normally the dock would be there as well. There is also a good pizzeria two minutes walking away, if you do not want to go all the way down to eat. We did not try the breakfast but the host can also bring you breakfast for a small fee as well if you let her know ahead of time. I am very happy we did not choose to live in a hotel on Via Statale, where you can smell car exhaust and hear traffic when you open your window. Here, you can enjoy fresh air, quiet, and flowers. My only note of caution is that if you have mobility/walking problems AND you do not have a car, the incline going up from Via Statale to the house should be considered. Like many properties in the area, there is no AC. It was exceptionally hot during our stay, and the host provided a fan. As long as we kept the shutters closed and lights off during the day while we were out, the room stayed reasonably cool.

Giovanni and his wife are amazing hosts. They met us at the door and helped us with our luggage. They let us check in early and offered to let us leave our luggage after checkout. They gave us dinner recommendations. Not to mention the location is absolutely perfect. It is right in the center of town with a beautiful view of the water from the balcony. It is also super accessible from the train station and ferry. We highly recommend staying at Casa Cortesella, it was an unforgettable experience.

The hospitality of our host, Nicolò, truly exceeded expectations. He reached out well in advance to confirm our arrival and even arranged for an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, he remained attentive, responsive, and eager to accommodate any request. The property itself is perfectly located — right in the heart of Varenna — and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay.

wow! such a great place to stay! 2 minutes from the port, a supermarket right next to it, and what can I say about the view from the terrace!!! just wonderful. the staff was also really really nice

Where do I even begin we arrived by buss there was no taxi or uber running during this time we thought we would have to walk up all the way to the airb&b thankfully we reached out to our great host and he was able to rearrange his schedule for us to pick us up and drop us off, the place itself is wonderful it sits over the lake and the inside is super quaint he had everything you could possibly need from kitchen wear to basic cooking supplies to shower supplies and candles, he invited us over to his terrace where we got to enjoy Italy with the locals and try some of their famous liquor all in all of you are looking for a place in verenna look no further this place makes you feel like you are a location a great spot with some amazing people:)

Casa Aquadulza exceeded our expectations and was our favorite place we stayed in Italy during our 2-week trip. Impeccable, artful, authentic to the area, charming and so inviting. Thoughtful design and everything we needed. The charming and wonderful restaurant was a bonus along with Riccardo and his top-notch team. If you want a generic hotel, this is not it. If you want something truly unique that you will remember for years to come stay here.

Incredible views of lake Como. Our host, Michela, was fantastic! She took care of our every need and it was a joy to spend time with her. She treated us like family.

The most beautiful location ever. In a very hilly area but the entire village is hilly. The 20 minute walk and the price was so worth how complete and amazing this stay was. Ugo and Michele were both so hospitable. I came here with my mom and grandmother, and they both had heavy luggage that was hard to carry, especially because of the many stairs to get to this place. Michele (owner) very kindly offered to drive us to the ferry, carry our luggage, and drop us off. Ugo (manager) was so communicative and polite. My favorite place in the world. Thank you so much.

Alicce una anfitriona genial. Nos gustó mucho la habitación e hizo muy cómoda nuestra estancia. El apartamento está a 5 minutos de la parada de bus que te lleva de Como-Bellagio y vice-versa, lo que hizo muy fácil el moverse de Como a Bellagio.
