This place is amazing! The town of Monteforte is conveniently located for wine tasting and other activities in region and is less overrun with tourists than neighboring Barolo (at least when we were there). We originally booked the Il Forno room but it turned out to be rainy when arrived and we were planning to spend more time in the room than anticipated. The room upstairs, the Pianista, was available and the host was kind enough to let us upgrade. It was amazing! Il Forno is a lovely room but the Pianista is stunning and double the size! Both rooms are decorated superbly but the Pianista has views that I will be dreaming about for years. When we arrived it was cloudy so, while we saw lovely views of vineyards and the town of Barolo in the distance, we didn't realize how well we could see the mountains. What an incredible delight when the clouds cleared and The Matterhorn appeared looming over Barolo in the distance. The bed was comfortable. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, as well as all the traditional amenities. We were able to park on the street outside the building... it was tight but manageable. Communication with the host was great and Sabrina and Chiara were incredibly accommodating to our request to switch rooms (note: we were visiting out of high tourist season). I have already recommended Palazzo d'Assi to friends who plan to visit the region.

Loved this property! So charming and a great location with fabulous views nearby. Furnishings were very nice and it was very clean. The terrace was a nice place to relax after a long day of walking! Would definitely stay here again!

The host was super nice. She gave us great recommendations. The place is in a great location, new and modern. It was super clean, everything just works and they had a nice welcome package for us. The room is huge and the bathroom great. The views from the place are stunning. Great place for great value!

Peaceful, beautiful view, excellent and gracious hosts in the middle of wine country. Day trips to Monaco, Nice, Torino and Genoa are all possible from this location.

The entire home is newly renovated, with gorgeous bathrooms and nice aesthetics. Very tranquil and kind team to greet us.

Host were very accommodating, very welcoming. We fell in love with Italy, and with this region in particular mostly because of this wonderful experience in the Rosso Di Sera. Very authentic Italian experience. The dinner at the property was outstanding.

This property offers a mix between a guest house and a small hotel, combining a relaxed atmosphere with the comfort of hotel-style amenities. It has a modest pool, well suited for warm summer afternoons, and is set among the rolling vineyard-covered hills typical of the Barolo area. The surrounding landscape creates a peaceful setting, making it a convenient base for exploring the local wineries and villages.

The rooms are delightful. The decor is a beautiful stay between new and old and everything flows in every way possible. It’s a truly beautiful place inside and out.

Perfect place to stay. Absolutely beautiful room with comfortable bed and great bedding. Beautiful bathroom and sitting room. Nice outdoor space to sit and relax. Perfect location in center of La Morra, yet very quiet. Walk to restaurants, coffee, etc. Free parking. Andrea was a great host. Nice European breakfast. Walking trails nearby. Wineries all around. Perfect location to explore this lovely area. Highly recommend.

We loved it here! The room with the giant terrace was gorgeous. Highly recommend dinner at the restaurant! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We would definitely come back.
