It was close to the Nishi Maizuru station, very clean and comfortable, working kitchen and the suggestions for hotels/cafes were helpful. Felt secured and safe with the digital locks. Also, free rental cycles was a bonus!

I would of liked to stay longer, but I was just passing through this town. I was welcomed by a lovely lady, she recommended a great sushi restaurant. If I'm back in the area, this is where I would stay!

Wow what an amazing experience with the kindest and most accomodating hosts Kei and Mikiko. We had a beautiful and well prepared dinner and the breakfast was served in a hot house filled with herbs and lavender, The meals were vegetable from their garden and we were spoilt by snow when we woke up from our very warm and comfortable beds. This was an experience that is a must when visiting Japan. Thank-you Kei and Mikiko.

The staff were friendly and accessible during my stay. I Japanese to communicate with them. I LOVED the kotatsu (I stayed in January). Since most attractions closed at 5:00, I ended up spending a little of time relaxing here. There is a bus stop only a 2 minute walk away, but look for the sign because Google maps stopped me too soon. The bus comes about every hour. The train station is a 20 minutes walk away. There is a small mall that has a grocery store, clothing store, restaurants, and a good viewing spot, about 10 minutes walk away. There is a burner, some pots, seasoning, soy sauce, oil, tea, and instant coffee.

They got everything you’ll possibly need and more. To start, the location was amazing. It is situated right in front of the inland sea which means the shoreline was very tranquil and makes healing sound.(not too loud) Facing east so that you can actually see the sun rise from the room waking up. The bath tub also was facing the east so when taking the bath you could watch the waterline too. All the amenities were organic and smelled good. The wall which the house owner explained they were made of traditional Japanese paper and I’m pretty sure they were immersed with charcoal so that it looked chic and had a gentle smell of calmness. The entire facility we can see was created and taken well care of with thoughtfulness. Our experience there became so relaxing and memorable one thanks to the everyone involved with the facility!
