Takano-san is incredibly generous and very caring. I was coming back from a music festival and wasn’t sure if there were taxis operating from Echigo Yuzawa Station so I intended to do a 75-minute walk back, and she told me she was willing to pick me up. Fortunately, there were taxis making runs at 1am so I was able to make it back safely. I immensely appreciate her gesture.

Our host was super friendly and generous. We were very sick and he made us feel comfortable;even made us eggs and toast for breakfast. There is a beautiful onsen. I highly recommend this place

The place is very cozy and clean, the food is very delicious and there is a lot of variety of dishes in each emeal. The cost is also very affordable. The staff are very accommodating and nice. This place is highly recommended for those who wanted to relax and enjoy the winter.They have a shuttle bus coming from the train station. And have onsite free parking. Will definitely come again.

The property owners were very nice. Located Right next to the Gondola. Good value for the money overall. I would def. recommend it to friends.

Super close from ishiuchi Maruyama hatsuka ishi. 5 min walk to the ski slope. Super good deal with hattori rental— 1900yen/day for renting ski boots and ski all together is unbeatable. Stuff are very friendly. They have cute cats that our kids love. Choose the food included option because food is good and also convenient

Staff was excellent, Location is top notch you can always hear river waves. It was excellent for the money paid.

We chose Futago Cabin for the proximity to some ski resorts we wanted to visit in this New Year Holiday and we are SO happy we chose this wonderful place. The staff was fantastic, extremely kind and helpful, the price we paid was unbeatable, the view from anywhere was breathtaking and it felt like being in a real cabin in the mountains. The kitchen was equipped with everything one needs for a holiday to prepare meals, guests can use the refrigerator to put food and drinks inside, and there are supermarkets (Harimaya or Nattus) quite close to the hotel which sell ready to eat meals, and that's what we did for the 4 nights 5 days we spent there. Coffee and tea are provided free of charge, one just can make them by using the hot water electric kettle in the dining room. The mattresses in our room were VERY comfortable and even though it is an older building, we didn't hear other guests talking in their rooms from our room, it was always nice and quiet. Fuel for the room heater costs 600 yen per day, one has just to bring the tank down and the friendly owner will fill it up immediately. Our room was always nice and warm. The bathroom is clean and it was located quite close to the room, separated for men and ladies. We were VERY happy to have found Futago Cabin, and we are going back on March :) HIGHLY Recommended for those looking for a cabin in the mountains style of stay!

How close the ski resort is. There was a heater in my room that felt nice.
