Outstanding hospitality from the proprietor. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. I could not have asked for better lodging in Grootfontein.

Meteorite Rest Camp offers accommodations in Grootfontein, 13 miles from Old Fort Museum. Guests are welcome to go for a swim in the pool with a view.

We were so happy with our choice to stay at the Meteorite Rest Camp. The individual chalet (cabin) was homey and comfortable with lovely decorations and a fully equipped kitchen. We used the bbq with homemade sausage and kudu steaks bought at their farm shop that were delicious. Loved taking a walk with their super friendly dog. Lots of birds in lovely surroundings with a friendly host. Great value!

Bambi Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Grootfontein where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden, and bar.

Friendly staff. We were allowed to braai for ourselves. We certainly felt at home and the owner accomodated us in every way possible
