Guest Houses in Barcelos

The staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The facilities are kept clean and towels even changed daily. The location is excellent. Had a beautiful view from a dorm balcony too.

We stayed for three nights in the "Figurado" suite. It had a nice private bathroom and a small kitchen with a stove and a stocked mini fridge. It was ideal for our first time in Barcelos. The suite is very well located, and a short walk takes you to the center of the city. We also enjoyed the free breakfast, and the receptionist (Luisa) was kind and helpful.

Clean and hostess was lovely.

Accommodation is a large size property with plenty of space and good facilities. There is also a good launderette nearby.

What a gem of a place! Incredible value, comfortable rooms, convenient areas.

The room was very nice and the hotel and restaurant were elegant. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were exceptionally good. The two men who ran the place did not speak English but still managed to convey the very most welcoming and helpful attitudes.

The breakfast was lovely with the typical fruits, baked goods, cereals, yogurts, sandwich meats, jiuce, milk, etc. in a very nice cafe. The room and all its amenities were well thought out. The stone decor is reminiscent of a historical castle but with new contruction. It is absolutely charming, including a common living room. The Babette restaurant was very nice as well. There is no charge for street parking. You just have to drive around the block to find some. The check in person even got in the car with us to show us places to park.

Great location in a jewel of a city. They were very responsive and check-in was easy. I told them I didn’t want to share how great it was because I plan to return for more visits and I want to protect my “secret” place! Lol.

It is an incredibly clean and comfortable place to stay! It's located very close to the entrance of Barcelos, making it easy to reach the riverside the next morning to enjoy the views before heading out. I highly recommend it to all Camino pilgrims, you will get an excellent rest here.

The Landlord goes above and beyond to help in any possible way, his wife is extremely friendly, and I was shocked to find out he speaks several languages, not saying he is native in all of them, but you just gotta love how much effort he puts on welcoming people to his house! I don't think We could have made a better choice than this house for our stay! My family (a 3 years old, a 15 years old and 2 adults) enjoyed our stay, the house is walking distance from everywhere, beds were great, bathrooms were clean, all common areas were clean at all times, we were able to cook, to wash our clothes, to go grocery shopping and use the fridge, which made this a much pleasant stay! Almost forgot, they have a dog, her name is Kira, she is a wonderful and playful girl, never angry, never mad, and she also greets you at the door very happy!
