Very quiet and cozy. We went during off-season and found everything outstanding! Friendly owner and wife took care of us. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Located about a 10 minute walk from Monte Gordo. Took day trips to Vila Real de Santo Antonio and Tavira. Hiking trails were nearby and we used them as well. Very relaxing couple of days.

Villa Marquez is a very nice hotel located just 5 minutes walk from the marina and the ferry to Spain. The staff is very friendly and will happily help you with everything you need. My room was spacious with sideboards for your clothes and a comfortable bed. On the top floor there is a little bar-like kitchen with a kettle and a microwave as well as fridges to store your food. There are tables to sit down both inside and outside at the terrace. I enjoyed my stay at Villa Marquez and will stay here again next time I'm in town.
