The location was great! I travel with my husband , my 9 yr old son and my 2yr daughter. Every hour they have a free shuttle that takes you to the Ballston Metro Station and picks you up as well when returning g to the hotel. One day we did not wanted to sit for the shuttle to pick us up and we walk through a very nice neighborhood and it was only a 10 min walk form the metro to the hotel. The hotel has free parking as well. Is near a lot of restaurants just walking distance. Rooms were big and beds were very comfortable. Cleaning was excellent as well. The room had a small fridge but bigger than the standard you find in others. It also had a microwave. We had breakfast included and for the price it was more than we expected. They had boiled eggs or scrambled. They had a Machine to do your own waffles , bagels, bread English muffins, orange , apples, instant oat meal, cereals, 3 different kinds of d of juice, tea, coffee, instant chocolate, muffins or other pastries. Hotel staff was super friendly and always willing to answer questions about best spots in DC and how to get there. We went every day to DC and it was only a 20 min commute to the Smithsonian Station. I will definitely stay there with my family again. The only thing they do not have is a Laundry room so I had to look for one (less than a mile away but not the best one) .

The property is a beautiful little apartment. The place is self catering, with a small bit well appointed kitchen, where it was easy to cook. There is a large living area, and a good internet connection. Bedroom was small but bed was comfortable, and there was a sizable closet. Washer/dryer available, though we did not use it. A beautiful outdoor area overlooking a small pond was lovely as well. A great value for the money!

Very charming and welcoming bed & breakfast. Staff was very helpful and incredibly friendly. Communication was top-notch. Bedroom was very quiet, and the bed was very, very comfortable (mattress and pillow appeared new). Location was perfect for visiting embassy row. Exceptional value.
