Everything was perfect and the host was so polite and respectfull

I spent one week in late May, solo, at this interesting, quiet cozy log cabin with modern amenities, while visiting friends in the area. The arrangements were very well described on the booking.com internet listing and overall I had a very positive experience here and would not hesitate to return. Though there is no direct view of the nearby lake (I did not expect one), there is a partial view of the beautiful nearby hills from the back patio, yard, and living room, and the lake is only a five minute walk downhill from the house. At the lake is an excellent Italian restaurant (Allago), and a couple minutes walk further is another restaurant (Seehuette), both with outdoor seating options with views of the lake. The patio and yard area has comfortable, shaded, private seating and gets afternoon sun. The town of Rieden nearby (4 minute drive or a 20 minute walk mostly along the edge of the lake) has a nice family run butcher shop, and a family run bakery which sells fresh breads and cakes, in addition to a few basic foodstuffs, but you have to drive to get to a bigger market, so you may want to stock up in advance. The living room/kitchen combination had a big screen TV near the couch area. There is a small dishwasher, a small oven, and a convection stovetop, none of which I used. There is also a large water boiler for coffee and tea, but no microwave. There was an enormous complicated looking espresso machine I did not use, and an egg cooker. The kitchen was equipped with plates, glasses, cups, basic cooking dishes, and dish towels and scrubbers, and there was a dining table with comfortable seating for four. Basic condiments are also available, as is dish soap. The separate bedroom with a double bed (smooth big matress, not split as is more common in Germany) was very comfortable. There was a bedside electric charger and plenty of storage in the closet, plus another wall TV.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, quiet, and very well-equipped. The host was lovely and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommended!
