This place was paradise! Amazing pool, amazing view, right on the beach. The ocean and beach were beautiful. The villa was clean and had all the amenities one could need. This place was the highlight our our trip.

The home was very clean and contained everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The washer and dryer were great and the home was comfortable. We stayed in the winter and spent our days paddle boarding. It was nice to come back and relax, make a meal and have a hot shower. The stars were beautiful at night as the property is in a semi secluded location. I. The morning you are a quick drive to the beach for sunrise and twenty minutes away from great swimming locations and a big supermarket. We appreciated being guests in this home.

Convenient location for access to airport, tatsugo, and northern areas. Very quiet and calm area. Kitchen has all the equipment you need to throw together a meal. Hosts were very kind!

I did not have breakfast provided to me. There was drip coffee packets and a kettle to boil water in the room. The property is charming, homey, and perfectly located for exploring Amami Oshima. It is tucked away from the road for excellent privacy, offering a beautiful jungle-like natural setting and a small ocean view. The garden and porch are lovely, and all amenities worked perfectly including the AC, hot water, fridge, and kettle station. It was a wonderful setup for a solo traveler.

Overall, we had an amazing stay, and it was very affordable, even during Golden Week. I highly recommend staying here. This gorgeous house is about a 15 minute drive from the airport. We had a group of 7 people and had plenty of space. The downstairs room has a double bed and 2 futons. I think there were 3 futons in each of the 2 upstairs rooms. The house has 1 bathroom downstairs next to the washer/dryer. There are 3 toilets - 1 in the downstairs bedroom, 1 near the entry, and 1 at the top of the stairs. The 7 of us fit comfortably around the dining table for meals. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and equipment. There is a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, electric kettle, and rice cooker. I recommend you look through the kitchen before buying some items, as we saw a lot of oil, sugar, and various sauces. There was also some plastic wrap and aluminum foil that we used. The house has gorgeous wood furniture and decorative carvings, which give a rich homey feeling. Since our flight arrived around 6pm, the host suggested we stop at the nearby grocery store to buy essentials since many places on the island close early. When we arrived at the house, the door was unlocked and we called the host for check-in. She gave us a quick tour of the facilities and was very helpful with beach and restaurant recommendations during our stay. The house also has an ice machine on the patio and air conditioners in several rooms. There's a small portable bbq in the back that is free to use, but we didn't have a chance to use it. The living room has an ornate wooden table that we used in the evenings to play games. There are some toys and books for children too, so it seems very family-friendly.

10/10 stay with Bird Logg Amami. From the moment we arrived at our accommodation we felt comfortable. The cabin is clean, spacious and has a very nice atmosphere. The cooking and bathroom facilities are perfectly equipped and well thought out, making the stay very easy and relaxing. We stayed a total of six days and five nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! The washing machine and drier was a massive plus given our long stay and many trips to the beautiful ocean around the island.We appreciated the attention to detail. The trip was made incredible by the host Namibe and his family, who extended great hospitality. They were very kind and generous. During our stay Namibe ensured we ticked off all of the activities we wanted to do, including fishing, swimming with turtles and offered great local knowledge regarding which beaches to visit. Very kind hosts that went out of their way to help us. Very peaceful lush farmland area with chickens and a rooster or two. Lovely fixed up home, very clean, and comfortable. Stove worked well and ample cookware and dishes. Nice modern toilet.
