Vacation Homes in Coimbra

We loved the house. It's located in a very quiet village about 25 minutes from Coimbra and close to the fabulous Roman ruins at Conimbraga. There are other excellent day trips in the area and all the roads are excellent. The house is beautiful and well equipped. It was chilly weather during our stay but the fireplace made it so warm snd cozy. Carla is very helpful - we all managed with Google translate! This is a wonderful stay.

Location and view were spectacular. Weather did not cooperate but we enjoyed Talasnal nonetheless.

I honestly don’t understand how this place is even allowed to be listed. The bathroom was damp and smelled strongly of humidity, there was no heating at all, and the noise from the street made it nearly impossible to sleep. It was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.

The positives werre that the location is very near the road leading to the center of Coimbra 15 minutes a way, the facilities were realtively new, there was a restaurant next door and 2 supermarkets within a kilometer. The room was reasonably comfortable for the price. The shower was great with hot water and a rainshower that worked very well.

Everything about this property is done well. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings are comfortable. The location is perfect for a 10 minute walk across the bridge to the center. There are stairs so be aware if that’s an issue for anyone in the party.

A historic property in a great location! Our gracious and friendly host had many suggestions for family friendly activities, most that were in walking distance. The home was spacious, clean, and we were very comfortable as a family with three small children. Would definitely book again in the future! Thank you, Pedro!

Cosy, clean, beautifully decorated

The house is lovely, well appointed. Very interesting personal touches. Roomy, comfortable and very nice, private backyard. Some vegetables for the picking. Very good off street parking. If you don’t have a car, 7 euros to town via uber. Home is in a neighborhood. Good barbecued chicken/rib restaurant up the street. Host gave perfect directions for arrival. Host gave us a lot of information and we had a very special event because of her recommendations. She is very responsive and helpful.

The space was large and clean. Great if you have several family members and want a large gathering space. Large well equipped kitchen and out door eating area. Grills for outdoor grilling were available. Garage to enter so no worry about safety and plenty of parking for several cars. Balcony off one of the bedrooms. Plenty of closet space and even a very nice wooden crib if needed. The owner recommended a restaurant that was conveniently located directly next door, however, it didnt start serving dinner until 7:30 so we missed out as we wanted to eat earlier. Owner was very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival and left a box of pastries for us.

You won't find a better view in Portugal! Ideal for longer stays. like most places nearby, a car is essential. Directly below the property is one of the most famous river /wooded walks in the area. A truly magical place
