Vacation Homes in Foz do Arelho

The home is a wonderful, large three-story house (lower level is downstairs but very big, bright and not at all like a typical “basement”) with a lot of room for a lot of people. It was just my husband and me with our tiny dog so we stayed on the main level where there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The decor is very tasteful and because we stayed Christmas week (festive Obidos, 20 mins away was our primary destination), Linda, our awesome host put out adorable decorations. She was always available to assist with anything and the glitch or two that we had, she bent over backwards to take care of. There are different beds to choose from and she has more than enough towels in all the bathrooms. The shower was great, high pressure and hot. The washer and dryer were helpful when staying longer. I wish we stayed in the summer because the pool and outdoor space look amazing. We highly recommend Foz Fancy Fun.

We loved our stay at Casa Entre Praias! The location was great for us, as we were in the area to visit Nazare and Obidos and Casa Entre Praias was in between. It is a quick drive to Foz do Arelho and to São Martinho do Porto with great beaches and restaurants. There is a miradouro right near the property that we visited on a whim and highly recommend - the views are stunning! Jolanda was such a wonderful host - she was flexible when our arrival times changed a bit due to weather, and met us to give us the keys and a little tour. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us, and a fire in the pellet stove. It was so cozy! The property is beautiful and it feels like you are far away from civilization even though everything you might need is a short drive away. We came with our three kids (13, 10, and 6) and they loved it as well. We will absolutely stay here again, next time at a time of year where we can take advantage of the gorgeous pool! But even in the winter, Casa Entre Praias was a perfect home base for our weekend adventures.

Helena was a wonderful host and went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She is warm and welcoming and helped us with so many aspects of our holiday. The house is lovely and is truly a home from home which is exactly what we wanted. We were a family group with ages ranging from 20's through to 70's and all of us enjoyed the house and location so much. We hired cars at Lisbon airport and found it easy to drive to the house from there. It was perfectly located to reach other places of interest such as Obidos, Calda da Rainha, and Peniche (for surfing- Martin, at the surf school close to the house in Foz, is a really great guy and reasonable for surf lessons). We would certainly come back in a heart beat and will be highly recommending to friends. Thank you Helena.

Beautiful location overlooking the lagoon. The home is in great condition and is very comfortable, especially the beds. The owners are very responsive and welcoming. This is the perfect location to explore the Silver Coast!
