Resort Villages in Amed

Beautiful ocean views, clean room and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who can use a little peace and quiet.

The staff were amazing. The snorkling was excellent, so much to see and so close to shore! I stayed in the sea view villa with air-conditioning and it was wonderful.

Great grounds, private bungalows, large grassed area, 2 swimming pools, beach chairs on the beach and around pool, cafes etc to right and left of hotel on the beachfront

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our room had an amazing ocean view upstairs. Break fast was amazing nice hot omelette. Overall it was very very enjoyable stay👍🏼

Beautiful sunrise views, huge room, right on the beach. Snorkeling is amazing right in front of the hotel, as good as the popular locations to the north... staff is friendly and helpful. Ready to fix any problems (minor problem with the bathtub drain was fixed very quickly). Wayan is a great host/manager. We loved our time there.

The authentic Balinese inspired villas with stylish open bathrooms, pristine pool, restaurant and nature landscape speak of a well managed architectural understanding of local culture and spirit. The location is right at the beach and traditional fishing can be observed daily when the boats return from their trip with nets full of mackerels. We bought some direct from the fisherfolks and the restaurant staff fried them for our breakfast. Right in front of the property is a shallow reef with almost 100% coral cover. They provide living space for a high diversity of reef fish species. We spotted lots of damsels, surgeonfish, fusiliers, anthias, angelfish, pairs of butterfly fish, needle fish, puffer fish, triggerfish of all sizes, squid, stingrays, turtles and even nurse sharks. Particularly for children it’s s perfect snorkeling site since the reefs are at a shallow depth of 1-2m depending on the tides. Water temperatures are at 29-30 degrees Celsius which are quite comfortable without wetsuit. However, a t-shirt against sun radiation is strongly recommended.

This place is stunning, beautiful, best of all is that the staff appears to really happy working there. Everyone smiling and you can hear people laughing at work. They hosted a weekly barbecue where they seated all the guests together, that created a very inviting and friendly atmosphere. We hardly left the resort, we had everything we needed right there. It was an excellent stay.

It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool setup, although I didn’t actual go inside the pool. It’s a nice getaway spot on the main road.

Beautiful room with awesome facilities. Close to everything in Amed, convenient restaurant in front of the beach. Sama sama staff is absolutely amazing, always keeping the place super clean and always smiling !

Just had our second stay at Galang Kangin and once again it didn't disappoint. Can't beat the location, just walk out of your room onto the beach and the snorkelling is amazing. Staff were lovely and the breakfast and restaurant food tasty and good value. We'll be back!

Beautiful traditional cottages in an incredible beachfront setting, with amazing snorkelling and marine life only steps away. Beautiful gardens with a lovely pool Staff were incredibly generous and helpful. I’m definitely returning !

Amazing property with great location

I love CVV, this was my second stay here. I chose the villa closest the gate to the beach and was not disappointed. The resort itself is lovely and comfortable, beautifully kept gardens and spacious rooms. Perfect place for lounging about on the porch, in the ocean, or in the pool. Swings for the kids, good food, nice bar. The location is amazing (absolute beachfront with a view of Lombok) and the big bonus is the local fishing guys who have hereditary rights to use the beach and pull their tiny outrigger boats "jukung" up on the beach right outside the resort., and, they told me, in case of a cyclone, in the garden of the resort itself. They fish at dawn every day, and for a small fee will happily take you along to fish or to watch, and will also take you to fabulous coral reef snorkelling or diving spots by boat or "by swim" . They are all mostly family with each other, are exceptionally courteous and helpful, can speak a bunch of languages, and will keep you safe at sea. They care a lot about the environment and spend a lot of time cleaning up the endless tide of plastic rubbish that flows in on the tides after the rains. We caught fish most days, snorkelled for most of every day and got to kind of be included in local stuff in the gracious manner that all Balinese welcome their visitors. There is dive shop/school right next door and a restaurant on the beachfront of the resort. Easy place to hang out for a short or long stay, and a great place to be with family, friends or on your own. There is a Hindu temple on the beach right next door so some days you will hear and see ceremonies as they unfold.

It's a perfect place with a great location near the beach. Tasty breakfast. Helpful hostess. And very beautiful garden with different flowers.

The property had 2 pools and you had access to both. The breakfast was amazing, my favourite was the omelette with fruit salad; It was delicious everytime. Each bungalow had a private patio area, I sometimes would enjoy my morning coffee for the slower mornings. I would highly recommend to stay at this property!
