Loved the room, nice and quiet, great coffee, shower and complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was very very good. Lots of fresh fruit, alternative milk options, full english + all the plant based alts. Great value, highly recommend.

I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn Southend and it was a sublime belter. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like a VIP— Very Impressed Punter. The room was BOOM TING. I checked under the bed fully expecting to find a forgotten sock from 1997, but no, nothing. The bed was so comfortable I briefly considered playing 'JUMP' by Van Halen to the max. The staff acted as if they genuinely enjoy their jobs. The location was perfect: altho watching all the planes taking off, without going on holiday, was like someone dangling a Big Mac in front of you and not letting you have a bite. Overall, a barn-stormer of a stay. Clean, comfy and corking. If you know what it's like to sit on the Eiger while listening to banging drum n bass, this is for you.
