Pili and Roberto were amazing. They are so kind and made us feel completely at home. They had excellent advice on what to do and helped organize a boat trip and the train to the end of the world. They also picked us up from the airport and drove us out to lake Esmeralda for a small charge. They also were very patient with us as our Spanish is not amazing and made us feel so relaxed. The breakfast was also delicious! . I would 100% recommend staying here!

Danny and Patty are wonderful hosts. They were very cheerful, warm and helpful, and I felt like I had family in Ushuaia. They were very helpful in giving advice on what to do in Ushuaia, and telling me about restaurants, places to go, and how to get there. I also ordered breakfast and dinner, and both were very delicious. The room and bathroom are always very clean and comfortable. It's on a hill a little away from the main street, but you can get there in about 5-10 minutes by taxi, and it's in a great location with a panoramic view of the city. I stayed for 3 nights, but I was so impressed by the wonderful home, the family, and the beautiful city that I wanted to stay longer. It's worth more than just a stay.

Hostal el Arroyito is very clean, cozy, super comfortable, and feels like a welcoming home. Paulina is wonderful and extremely kind. It is reasonably quiet outside, and the ability to open windows to cool down the room is much appreciated (all the hostals/hotels in Patagonia seem to be 80 degrees inside). It is very quiet inside, and the other guests are friendly. The beds are super comfortable, and the place is well equipped with a full kitchen. The breakfast is tasty, and everything is well organized. The room is spacious and well lit, plus the location is great! There is a good (very reasonably priced) restaurant and a meat market downstairs, as well as a pharmacy a few doors down and a grocery store within a few blocks. You can see glaciers out the window and walk out the door to the nearby trails. I highly recommend Hostal el Arroyito.
