Homestays in Shangri-La

Great position right in the pedestrian precinct of the "ancient city". Tashi was very helpful about where to catch buses to get around the city, to the monastery and a taxi back to the train station. The ginger tea was very welcome and breakfast was very good.

July is an exceptional host! She basically helped us plan the full itinerary around Shangri-La and recommended the best restaurants in few minutes upon our arrival! She helped booking our tickets to Potatso and other places and shared precise location for bus stops and everything. Besides all this, her place is amazing, you feel like home. The rooms are huge and the garden is super bright and welcoming. Room amenities are also great. Her espresso machine was a luxury and the washing machine was a plus! I definitely recommend her place. July thanks you for making our trip so special!

Enjoyable breakfast with a good mix of toast, jam, butter, mushrooms, bananas and bacon plus coffee. Mattress was heated. Room was clean and decorated in a Tibetan style. Location - excellent as it was in the old town. Best of all, the host, Rose, helped us with arranging transportation from /to the train station and advising us of transport to the monastery.

We are very enjoy our stay in Aurora. Warm host, good food (we dinner at the hotel every night). The hotel just sept out from 纳帕海， it is a perfect location if you like nature, quiet area. You can see stars 🌟 星空 if the weather nice 😊 . We are very lucky to get all 3 sunny days. There a trail about 5km from half way of hotel location to 松攒寺。 The owner drop us off to the hiking trail. ☺️ We can order didi from hotel to old town without any problems.
