The experience of staying here is absolutely great! There’s no fancy decoration, but the place is clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the beds are very comfortable, and there’s plenty of hot water available. The Naxi courtyard is warm and tidy, the green plants in the courtyard are super healing, the room is spotless and the bedding is soft and glutinous, the 24-hour hot water is full of water, it is super convenient to visit the ancient city in the midst of the noise, the boss is enthusiastic and does not sell, the cost performance is full, and the living is comfortable and at ease!

I upgraded to a suite because it was so well priced. The hotel is new and the amenities, like shampoo and bathroom accessories were a nice touch. The location is perfect, on a quiet alley in the heart of the ancient city. But the best part of my stay was the attentive staff who helped with everything including guiding me to a good restaurant to taking me to a computer store for an adapter. They even helped me do laundry. Highly recommend.

Beautiful courtyard, adorable dog. The room was clean and warm. Everyone at the guest house was incredibly friendly, especially the "Teacher" was well traveled and interesting to chat with. He was also knowledgeable about the Tiger Leaping Gorge and arranged a carpool to drop me off at the trail head, deliver my luggage to the end point, then bring me to Lijiang train station on day 2. I was also added to a WeChat group with the driver and the guesthouse staff, and since I don't speak Chinese, it was really helpful to have them jump in when I needed something.
