After a long drive, we were relieved to arrive are a place that was so easy to access. Daniel gave us a warm welcome and a tour of the property as well as directions to a restaurant and a convenience store close by.

It was located fairly close to the airport in a neighbourhood with useful amenities eg grocery stores, restaurants.. They have comfortable, clean rooms and an apartment that accommodated my dad and I in separate rooms. Very helpful staff.

It was such a great homey vibe in the midst of the city. I felt so calm entering this space coming from the hustle and bustle of San Jose, and I'm so glad I booked at Lola's. It is super clean and comfortable and is now my stay when passing through San Jose. Lola herself was extremely kind, and was very patient with me when I asked to practice my Spanish and she was sweet enough to help me with that throughout the check-in.

I'VE STAYED THERE MANY TIMES. IT'S A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES, BUT GETTING BETTER EVERY TIME I GO THERE. LUCA IS A GREAT HOST. THE LOCATION (ESCALANTE) IS GREAT, WITH NICE RESTAURANTS, BARS, AND A NICE, BIG SHOPPING MALL A 20 MINUTE WALK AWAY.
