Very friendly family run guest house. Location is brilliant with am exceptional view from the balcony. The owners went out of their way to accommodate some personal wishes with no questions asked. They were there to serve. Breakfast was German traditional, very yummy and sumptuous.

This is a gem of a place. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms modern and clean. Wifi worked very well. The village is known for sparkling water, and complementary bottles were available throughout. Breakfast is the very best, with a very wide variety. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, modern, lovely ambience and super friendly host. The garden is a dream and we spent many hours relaxing and eating. The location was perfect for our long distance walk as it was not too far off the trail and could be reached on foot.

The owners are very friendly, attentive and helpful. They gave us crucial advices for dinner, local hiking spots, and (not) driving on to Strasbourg. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fresh and rich. I absolutely recommend staying here.

Great host with a very intelligent mind (not what you commonly expect in the countryside). Also the area is nice, you can see an old watermill not far from there, you just have to ask the old man, the owner, to show it to you. There’s a production logbook there with first entries dating to 1854. And you can have some local schnapps not far from there too. Overall great entry point to the Black Forest.
