Homestays in Dinan

Great location and lovely boutique renovation of historic building. Lounge and breakfast rooms are charming. Bed and linens were comfy. Staff were all thoughtful, helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early and put bikes inside.

The location was really convenient - quiet but easy walk to everything. The room were very spacious - plenty of room to be comfortable. It was a good choice for a family of four - staying in the two rooms. We appreciated the late check out. The dog on the property was very sweet too.

Location, room, free parking on the street

Amazing couple that runs a cute Bread and Breakfast. The nicest people in the world. We didn’t speak very much French and they didn’t speak very much English, but we were still able to communicate without any issues. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was a great size. The kitchen was so nice to use (microwave, oven, dishwater, cutlery were all available for us to use). Very peaceful. Their garden is lovely to look at from our balcony. We needed laundry done at this point in our trip and asked them if we could use their machine and to pay them for using it. They took our clothes, washed, dried, even partly folded it for us, and refused to take our money. Again, the sweetest couple!!!

La Vallee Du Launay is a great place to stay! The property is beautiful inside and out. It is set in idyllic countryside amongst rolling farm fields, yet just a couple of minutes drive to the wonderful medieval city of Dinan. The house and gites are amazing stone structures dating back to the 1600s. The interior of the gites are extremely well finished and appointed with everything guests could need. It was perfect for my wife Lisa and I and our dog Maple to decompress after our long trip from Canada and to use as a base for getting our nearby rented apartment ready for us to live in. Pascal and Cathy were very gracious and helpful hosts. Pascal was great to communicate with and very quick to respond to any questions we had. They even lent us a cooler to get cold items to our new place at the end of our stay! We would not hesitate to recommend La Vallee Du Launay to anyone looking to stay in the Dinan area. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends coming to visit us!

Marie has a lovely well-appointed home just out of the city. The living room was available to enjoy and our room and bed were very comfortable. The petit déjeuner was delicious with croissants and breads and home made jams. Marie’s garden is beautiful. But the best part was Marie, herself. What a lovely host, friendly, joyful and very accommodating! We wish we could have stayed longer. You won’t be disappointed by staying here.

Very hospitable and friendly staff, plus a delicious breakfast

We just spent a few days at this beautiful and peaceful property. We loved the beautiful outdoor space. We had the opportunity to enjoy sitting by the pond in the afternoons to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our room was beautifully decorated and had everything needed . We enjoyed a fantastic dinner made by the owner and a great breakfast each day. The location of this property was convenient to Dinan and a short drive to St. Malo. I hope to visit again in the future!

The place is very disorganized. It wasn’t clean at all. The tiny corner with the WC in the room was still in construction.
