★☆☆☆☆ Worst Experience Ever – Unsafe, Dirty, and Discriminatory Behavior I recently stayed at Regent Guest House in Burnley, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was completely unfurnished, dirty, and had exposed electrical wires, creating a very unsafe environment. Shockingly, the smoke detectors were missing, with only the mounting bases left on the ceiling. This is a serious safety hazard and unacceptable in any accommodation. The toilets were filthy, and the kitchen was so disgustingly dirty that I couldn’t step inside the entire day. The hygiene standards here are absolutely appalling. On top of this, I booked the room through Booking.com, but when I arrived, the hotel assistant charged me extra money for no valid reason. I overheard a phone call where the assistant spoke to his boss and said, “He is desi,” and the boss instructed him to overcharge me because of my ethnicity. This is blatant racism and discrimination, and no one should ever have to face such treatment, especially in a place of business. This guest house should be inspected by the authorities for health, safety, and ethical business practices. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and I hope no one else experiences the terrible treatment and conditions I did.

The living room is spacious and modern. The bed was comfy and the bedding was cleaning. The bathroom was pretty clean too. Overall it was only £25-30 per room and we all slept well.
