The shower and bath were excellent, the place had a beautiful aesthetic and was decorated very well, and the staff were very friendly. Most hotels these days are too modern looking and lack character but this guest house is absolutely stunning and I'm happy that it's original elegant appearance was kept intact.

It was very quiet! Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower are properly ventilated which is a plus for me, I love fresh air. My room was sunny too, and had a great view. The location was very easy to get to and from the city center. The host was very nice to chat with, and I was glad to meet a local. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Glasgow. Thank you!

I did not understand what I was renting. My mistake. This is the second bedroom in a two-bedroom apartment. You’re sharing that apartment with the lady who lives there. Once you understand that, she does a very nice job of keeping the apartment clean and useful. But it was not the sort of arrangement I would normally choose. It was also a bit of a walk to the heart of activities In Glasgow.

South of the river but very close to subway stop to be able to zip to city center. No frills guest house but safe and practical for a short stay in Glasgow

I have been to the guest house often. It is very conveniently located on the main road, close to the Cessnock Subway station and also to the bus stand, I think bus number 9 plies on this route. The rooms as well as the bath room are neat and clean. I have free WiFi. They provide towels and toiletries, kettle, water and tea/coffee sachets in the room. the closet and the study table is really useful. There are several good restaurants and convenience stores nearby and there is a microwave oven and fridge in the lobby. The price is very reasonable.
