Rooms are bigger than rooms in other guest-houses in Makarska. Excellent view of the sea and Makarska Harbour, Hvar Island, Brac Island, and the view westwards along the coast and mountains. The sea looks beautiful in the morning and sunsets are spectacular! Do your best to have a room with a balcony! Located in the best part of Makarska above Makarska old town with free and easy parking, above Makarska Old Town, easy to walk into centre in ten minutes. Makarska Harbour is great for excursions by sea to the Islands and also Inland. A car ferry goes to Sumartin on Brac Island. If you arrive at the bus station in Makarska the Pansion Komfor staff will gladly give you a lift to the pansion, and when you leave they will give you a lift back to the bus station. Restaurant is well regarded by visitors.

The hotel exceeded expectations. Peaceful, away from the crowds, with a beautiful view, a pool, fresh air, and birdsong in the morning. Absolutely recommended.

Exceptional stay – great value for money The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view — you can even see the sea! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A big bonus is the private parking behind the hotel — if you manage to park there, you can see your car from the balcony. At check-in, we received an €8 voucher for the bakery downstairs, which was such a nice surprise. The pastries were fresh and homemade — truly delicious. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are two beaches nearby. If you’re looking for something quieter, there are more secluded spots a bit further. Because the hotel isn’t right by the sea, it’s peaceful at night and perfect for a good night’s sleep.

Everything beautiful location and great host close to the beach walking distance

Fantastic customer service! I made my booking while travelling and just 20 minutes from outside the city. In that time, the reservation was confirmed, I received a personal welcome message from the hote, and on arrival my room key was in an envelope with my name on it. The manager was present and handed it to me as I came in. Superb location and would stay again for sure.

The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the nights are so quiet and lovely. The apartment was incredibly clean, the cleanest we've ever seen, that's for sure. There's a bus/van station right in front of the apartment that takes you to the beaches or the city centre. The most important thing, however, are the owners - they are remarkable people, very kind, always there when you need them, and very fun to hang out with. And one more word for Ivo ... Staying right at the beach really has its charm. Its a family-owned holiday house with very friendly owners and staff. It has nice kitchen with all the equipment. Its clean and comfortable. Extra bonus is a private terrace by the sea.

The host was absolutely amazing. Everything was well coordinated, clean, and organized. The host was very friendly and very lenient considering we were a group of boys who love to listen to music. The walls are very well insulated meaning it was pleasure staying in the apartment. After the checkout we were able to leave our stuff in the living room which definitely helped a lot since our transportation was delayed. Would definitely recommend the guesthouse 👍👍
