We had such a lovely stay here in Sidemen and would definitely return. Our room was even better than expected — we were surprised with a private pool and the views were absolutely beautiful. It felt so peaceful and relaxing. The kitchenette was also incredibly useful as we were travelling with a toddler and a baby, and it made the stay so much easier for us as a family. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, and all of the staff were so warm and helpful throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. It was nice that it wasn’t a buffet and instead you could choose between an American or Indonesian breakfast each morning, which felt much more personal and relaxed. The restaurant itself also had such a beautiful view which made breakfast even more enjoyable. There were also some great cafes and warungs in walking distance for lovely meals and also walking distance to some cute shops and silver making class. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.

I stayed at Uma Agung for my 5-night trip to Sidemen, and I couldn't have been happier. They were helpful and friendly from the moment I arrived, showing me to my room and giving me information about the hotel and the area. When I realized I forgot my adapter, the restaurant employees (Puspa!) let me charge my phone there and showed me where to buy a new cord. Everyone was consistently friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. AC was excellent. Pool was too. I will definitely come back!

Staying at Surya Shanti was the best part of my Bali holidays. This place is nested in the most beautiful and peaceful part of Bali. The welcome services included drinks, foot massage and a chat with owner Joel. The staff was very helpful with all enquiries. The Suite rooms had great Balinese decor, were expansive in size. The terraces, infinity swimming pools and restaurant all had great views of the valley and mountains. Restaurant had great meal menu with very reasonable prices. Every service was excellent and i would love to visit this place again

We highly recommend taking the tour with the owner, Jack. You’ll go trekking through the rice fields and experience the authentic side of Bali, meeting farmers and seeing how they live. Jack also shows you the traditional process of distilling arak, and you get to enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch with a Balinese family. To top it off, there’s time for a refreshing swim at the waterfalls. The homestay itself is very comfortable and made our stay even more special.

The heater works fine, the mattress & pillows were very very comfy and don’t get me started on the view! 😍 I was here for about 5 nights and everything was worth it. You get to rent bikes at an affordable price and lastly, the owner was so kind, friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back to Sideman and stay here

This was a great place to stay in Sidemen! The room was really beautiful and for great value. It has a large bathroom, terrace, AC, good wifi, and mosquito net. There was also breakfast every morning and the owners of the homestay were so helpful and friendly. We rented a scooter from them, exchanged currency with them, and arranged tours with them very easily making our stay go super smoothly. There's also a laundromat right next door which is convenient for doing laundry.

It’s very close to the sideman main points

The view from our balcony was fantastic! Staff were warm and welcoming, and very helpful with luggage storage at the end of our stay + taxi booking to our next location. The room was spacious, and came with a desk, which was helpful for my partner who works from home. Wifi from the room was not fantastic, however strength was much better in the common balcony area. There is no air conditioning, but this was fine given the naturally cooler temperatures in the region. The fan provided enough cooling for us! We did not get to use the pool, but it did look lovely, and I could see the staff were cleaning it every morning. Breakfast was included; we had a hot drink, fruits and a main dish - it was tasty, but portions are slightly small.

The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the fan works great. Beautiful garden. Wayan was really lovely, he went out of his way to get me what I wanted. I will for sure be back.

The room was so clean and spacious! The best part was the couple that owns it who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The provided me with a scooter to rent, took me on a tour of the rice terraces, and let me borrow traditional clothes to visit the temple. The food was also amazing! I only wish I stayed longer.

Staying here truly gives you the real Bali experience. The area is comfortable, the room is clean, and the architecture reflects an authentic Balinese home with beautiful carvings and wooden details. I’m very happy I stayed here and will definitely come back someday. 100% recommended!!

- Very friendly owner. He bought Balinese cakes for me each morning! - I arrived early and I could check in early, He was also relaxed about me checking out late if need be. - Perfect location to explore Sidemen. - Cute cabin, with a good desk, comfy bed and good A/C. - Big bathroom. Clean. - Kettle, cups and tea/coffee in the room.

Blue Paradise (if you look for Aby you'll never find it) was a comfortable stay. The space is very large. Most comfortable bed I slept in in Bali. Loved the balcony where I could watch Sideman move past or listen to the live music in the restaurants nearby. It was an easy walk to the rice fields, yellow bridge or restaurants. Great reception on the TV. Hot shower. Strong air conditioner. Nice area to make tea or cook. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful. Plentiful, tasty breakfast.
