The Stables is a lovely B&B - the building has lots of character. Breakfast was very nice - all cooked freshly to order and a great choice. We also had lunch there - the restaurant is lovely and there is a nice courtyard out the back. The room was clean and comfortable. Birr Castle is on your doorstep so we took the opportunity to go in there for the morning.

Townsend House Guest House in Birr provides accommodations with a garden, a bar, and a shared lounge.

Host is fantastic; incredibly friendly, chatty, makes you feel super welcome. Rooms were comfortable and homely. Shared bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was delightful. Highly recommended.
