Wonderful location on a quiet beach looking out at Le Morne Brabant. It was so nice to stay outside of the general luxury tourist area. The village is charming and one of the highlights of my trip. The owner, Soorekha, is warm and helpful. I truly felt at home and looked after while I was there. The room was lovely and the terrace gave incredible views of the water. It was a wonderful stay.

The bed is very comfortable. Room is well equipped, clean and spacious. We felt at ease, slept well and enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Bonheur very much. We rented our car with Le Gite which has great options for their rental. Well located to discover the West and South of the Island. Lots of hiking options and sea excursions/ activities next to the guest house. The Host is Great and will do everything possible to assist. Thank you Cody for the great hospitality. We recommend Le Gite du Bonheur and if we come to Mauritius, we will be back!
