Superb location, superb view, superb breakfast

Great value for money. You get what you pay. We are satisfied. We had the apartment 14 upstairs which looked in better condition than the ones downstairs (where my friends were). Definitely recommend to book the room 14! Very close to a supermarket and a restaurant called le bistrot.

Cleanliness and views, proximity to various facilities

Quiet location, very leafy garden, warm hosts, We had spent some days in the East in an upscale resort, so it was nice to get an authentic Mauritian experience as a cherry ontop. Brigette was an amazing host who made us feel like we should have spent more days; she was like the aunt I wish I had. We had to check out at 3 am to catch our flight, and she was awake waiting to hug us goodbye. We loved the place.

For most people, this is a place for transit to airport, but we stayed for 3 days, and feel it good, because (1) it locates at the Rue Marianne, whose end is the bus hub, so it is easy to travel everywhere; (2) the owner is very kind to prepare our breakfast at 5:30 in order that we could catch up with flight; (3) the local people are very helpful, and always willing to tell us how to travel with bus, of course, most in French; (4) finally, the breakfast is good on the roof.

Had a good relaxing time ... the place was lovely and very comfortable with the neccessary amenities and the supermarket and the beach are very near

My recent visit to the beautiful island of Mauritius was extraordinary. As a world traveler, this stands out as one of my best travel experiences. I stayed at Residence Les Bambous, which, while not the newest property, was clean, efficient, and perfectly suited for travelers who want to explore the island rather than focus on luxury accommodations. Some reviews were unfairly critical, but I found the hotel ideal for my needs. Each morning, a hot and plentiful breakfast was served on the rooftop, framed by stunning mountain views. Between the island’s natural beauty and Ritesh’s knowledgeable, attentive hosting, this trip was unforgettable and deeply treasured. Mauritius captured my heart in every way.

the view is extremely good, words fall short........and the rooms are very very clean....some bad reviews mentioned for them which should not be followed...they misguide you....there is absolutely no problem with the property.

Excellent value for price. Friendly, professional, and accommodating staff. Breakfast is generous and tasty. Clean room and bathroom. Quiet residential neighborhood but still close to Mahebourg center, Blue Bay, Pointe d'esny.

Small B&B, one of the owners told us it has just three rooms for guests. Our room was huge and beautiful and had two balconies - we liked to call it the Val Kilmer room because of a painting on the wall… Lots of interesting woodworking and cool features all over the property. Bed was comfortable. Shower not the hottest or best, but it was fine. Great breakfast and convenient location close to the airport and walking distance to the public beach, on a quiet part of the island. Overall we really loved our stay at Chez Henri and would happily stay there again, highly recommend.
