- Steven is just the best: charming, funny, informative. He offered pick-up and drop-off at the bus station since I was struggling with data in Malaysia. He gave us tons of useful information about the city and other necessities (food, cash, etc.). He showed us around in the apartment complex so that we would feel comfortable with everything. He also offers free marriage advice :). One of the best hosts we've ever had. - The apartments are clean, comfortable. Air condition, filtered water, coffee, tea and some snacks are provided. The beds are comfortable, as well as the showers. The washing machine is also there and free to use, which we appreciated a lot. - The neighborhood is super chill and calm, mostly residential. The city centre is just about 5 min. Cheap, good food hawkers and small markets are nearby

Anyone who enjoys and appreciates history and beauty of old buildings, please don’t go to hotel, stay at this place instead. It is a beautiful gem and elevated our Malacca experience. When I booked, I was worried that it might be dusty or smell moldy, like many old buildings in tropical climates (especially since I’m a bit sensitive to those things). I was wrong, this place is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. I could tell the owner pays detail attention to keep this place well preserved. It provided a comfortable rest after walking along the busy streets on Saturday night. Highly highly recommend above all. And by the way, cakes at Something Bakery downstairs are yummy.
