Homestays in Caldas da Rainha

Parking was so easy (easiest in our week plus Portugal travel). Facility was great. We even had breakfast served to us the next day. Our hostess was incredible. Central location.

The location is unbeatable. This newly renovated c. 1903 hotel has tiptop amenities, the heating works,the hot water is hot, the water pressure is excellent, the mattress firm, the linens crisp, etc. Good Old Days is immaculately maintained. May I add, I stayed at Good Old Days during a month of endless rain. I was often damp and chilled on returning to my room, which was always warm, dry and cozy!

Had to stop over on our way to Porto. The town itself was a bit stranded in January, but the hotel was excellent with a warm welcome. All information for arrival was correct and easy to understand and the welcome was warm. All rooms are named by a local artist and are decorated with his/her works. We had a deluxe family suite, where the second sleeping room is connected via small balcony (might be handy if there's a snoring person in family). We discovered later at the Nazare lighthouse that we works of Mario Reis are also decorating this iconic landmark. Breakfast was good - the buffee selection is not big, but they make you an omelette or anything else from eggs. Parking is close and easy to find. P.S Extra nice touch was the complimentary port wine in the room.

Clean, and a lot of accommodations.

Everything was perfect! Fabian and Selena are gracious hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay wonderful. Their place is lovely, and it's obvious the care and attention they put into it. It's simply charming. The bed was cozy, the breakfast was yummy, and the goats and pig they have on their property were a delight to watch. We were there on a scouting trip, and they were very helpful in telling us about the surrounding areas. We will definitely return. It's one of the best bnbs we've ever stayed in.

Great place. Very nice hosts and a lively dog. There is everything you would need and even more. Definitelly would recommend it. Next time we travel to that region we stay here.

I liked that the car was infront of your room . The restaurant next to it is spectacular . I liked it . The room was nice , may be they can add a chair into the room .

This review is about the separated room. The location is superb - quiet corner of a small village, 7 minutes from caldas da rainha. The room has its own kitchen and bathroom. And they are very good. The owners are super friendly. The bed are comfortable .

The parking was convenient and a short walk to town. The host is very responsive. The restaurant on the other side of the building was delicious.

The location, price and beautiful stay was above and beyond what we expected. We had our own car so 10 minutes outside of the Walls was perfect for us. We had one full day stay on our way from Lagos to Porto but wished we had longer. Not just to explore Obidos more but to stay and feel the peaceful tranquility of this property. The owner works non-stop to keep her business thriving. She is a gem and I wish I asked her name. She has a good soul and a beautiful smile. The reception area and rooms reminded me of weekends at my Grandmas (even tho I'm sure the owner is quite a bit younger than my 61 years). The place and rooms have old school decor with modern cleanliness. I could tell she takes pride in keeping the hotel immaculately clean. I kid you not. 🙂🤜🤛🤗🫶
