Kathryn and Dan were great host… If you’re looking for a getaway with privacy and quiet, this is a great place. The Casita feels like you’re in the country, but is a quick 30 minute drive to Downtown San Diego and all the beaches. The grocery, restaurants and all basic shopping facilities are 5 minutes away. The Casita is perfect size for a couple. There’s no traffic noise, the only thing you hear is the birds singing all day and the view is beautiful.

It was a great location! A lot of late night very good food options and plenty of variety. Public transit was reasonably easy and we took it to UCSD and Old Town. We drove everywhere else, and everywhere we wanted to go was a really quick drive (Balboa park, 15-20 min with traffic), Old town (10 minutes), Hillcrest (10 minutes), Convoy (5 minutes). The house itself was amazing to stay in, there was a beautiful grand piano, nice couches to enjoy, and free water and snacks. Kitchen was stocked with any essentials we might need to cook, and was really easy to use. The pool was beautiful and clean! The bathroom was nice. Overall the host was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. The other rooms in the house can be rented out to visitors but were empty while I was staying there and the host stayed off the property.
