Such a great location overlooking the valley and seeing the mountain peaks. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bikes were free to use, easy ride into town. Cooking facilities were great they’ll also cook you food if you request breakfast/dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the doggy. Highly recommend. The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

If you are looking for more than a comfy bed and a hot shower, this is the place for you. Maria and her family made us feel very much at home. They even dried our shoes and cloth. Her cooking was delicious. Almost like a home stay.

This felt like a mix between a luxury hotel and a homestay. The hostess, Irma, was very nice and great at helping us organize a visit to Volcán Chimborazo that fit our budget. The breakfast was also some of the best we’ve had. The room was spacious and the common area was very nice as well. Also, her granddaughter was adorable, but a little precocious.

The room was excellent, very comfortable for the price. Marco was a great host, very friendly and often invited me to join him and his friends to play sports or party. A good birder too! Breakfast was included and was simple but nutritious - fruit (sometimes with local fruit). omlette, and toast with white cheese and avocado. Lovely coffee with added special ingredient! Wif fi was good usually.

Perfect place to stay in Sigchos for the Quilotoa loop as the trail starts next to the property. Viktor (unsure of spelling) was a lovely host and helpful. The views from the garden are amazing. The evening meal consisted of soup, meat, rice and juice. Breakfast was fruit, oats, yoghurt, eggs, bread and juice. Free tea, coffee and water. Packed lunches are available and well priced for what you get. Strong WiFi, hot shower and comfortable room.

Great hostel for what you pay for. Walking distance to Old town. It's slightly away from the tourist hustle and bustle so if that's what you're after then this place may not be for you. It gets quiet at night however the area is fully lit and secure. Filling breakfast for $3. Keeps you going. Very helpful and attentive staff. Really good wifi too.

Fantastic place to stay on the Quilotoa loop with a lovely host family who are very welcoming and friendly. Food is amazing and there is lots of hot water at good pressure, with great views from the balcony over the valley. The banana cake is the best we’ve had in South America and there is a fire in the evening. Packed lunch for the next day was well priced and excellent. Cannot recommend enough.
