The hosts were extremely hospitable. Their home is very clean, the bed is comfortable, they provide towels and give you access to the kitchen. As the title states, it's also very quiet. Highly recommend.

As a cybersecurity researcher, I tend to notice details most people overlook, and there was something quietly reassuring about this place from the moment I arrived. After long, busy days out in Birmingham, it was genuinely comforting to come back to a space that felt calm, quiet, and easy. The kind of place where you can just pause for a moment, put something on Netflix, and reset before the next day begins. The location made everything effortless—whether heading out towards NEC, BHX, or around the city—but what stood out even more was the care put into the property itself. Everything was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The complimentary touches and essential amenities for a short stay were genuinely appreciated—they made the experience feel complete rather than just convenient. And of course, a special mention to the host—Sealey —for creating a space where everything just works without you having to think twice about it. There’s something about a stay like this that stays with you. I’ll definitely remember Moodyscroft when I think back to my time in Birmingham, and it’s a place I’d happily return to again. Nice large room, Colin and his staff were lovely, very helpful,with a great knowledge of the local area.friendly locals in the bar,and reasonably priced drinks with a nice open fire!, a great stay.

We had a truly lovely stay with Josie and Ian. They are without a doubt the most warm, welcoming hosts we’ve ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond in every way. The room itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, from tea and coffee to little chocolate treats and even toothpaste capsules. The location is perfect; right by the train station and close to all amenities yet tucked away on a quiet road with parking. We were also greeted by their two gorgeous, incredibly well-behaved dogs, which made the stay even more special. Although we were visiting for a funeral, Josie and Ian, their wonderful home, and the overall warmth they showed us made a difficult trip feel so much more comfortable. It genuinely felt like staying with friends. We honestly didn’t want to leave.

Property was exactly as pictured. Great little welcome folder with lots of helpful information. Felt very inviting, nice little touches in the kitchen. Nice to have the Netflix/sky available. I did have issues with the satellite reception but will put that down to the absolutely horrific weather causing interference rather than anything else. Very clean, fresh feeling space. Shower felt spacious. loved that I could park right outside the door, given the weather! Would absolutely stay here again if/when I'm in the area. Saw host very briefly (I was rushing whilst leaving) and was very warm and welcoming. Wish I had been able to stay for longer as originally planned.
