Was close to station. Not too many stairs. Kitchen free to use. Coin washer and dryer. Cute little shutter door on the bunk

The breakfast very plentiful and delicious. The staff were very helpful with information about places to visit in the surrounding area. The location was close to the center of Daigo and near the Michi no Eki shop for souvenirs. It was also in the vicinity of the wonderful Fukuroda Waterfall. I was able to hike there and back. There is also a lovely old cafe in the middle of Daigo town called Daigo Cafe. All in all, I very much enjoyed my stay at Daigo House and would stay again if visiting the area again.

This is certainly a unique place, good value for very large parties, but quite expensive otherwise. It was spot clean and had pretty much anything you would need.

木の家ゲストハウス enjoys a location in Mito, 1.5 miles from Kamizaki-ji Temple and 1.6 miles from Togyokusen.

It’s a very unassuming property from the road but the inside is gorgeous, there’s a nice area to sit outside, and it’s full of amenities (including a washing machine and a small oven!). It definitely helps to take a bus or drive out here though instead of trying to walk all the way from Mito station.
