A spacious traditional room. We had an incredibly comfortable sleep on the futons. Delicious traditional breakfast. 3 minutes to the beach and surfers. Nearby are coffee shops with excellent coffee. A very hospitable host.

This was our second time staying at the inn. Of course, the owners, Satoshi and Elizabeth remembered us and were just as friendly and helpful as our first visit 2 years ago. Satoshi remembered that we weren’t able to find a soba restaurant open on New Year’s day the first time and did research to find one for us. I was so touched by his kindness. There is a new lovely shared bathroom and many new interior design pieces. I’m still in love with the open air bath that can be reserved. It’s such a relaxing, friendly inn with lovely owners. I highly recommend it.

The owner of Sheena to Ippei is the loveliest and most helpful person -- I felt so warmly welcomed upon arriving and throughout my stay! Additionally, the facilities are cozy, comfortable, and very clean. In terms of location, it is only a short walk from the nearest metro station (Shiinamachi), but note that only the Ikebukuro Line stops there, meaning that transfers will often be necessary. It was no problem for me, as I enjoyed walking around the area (there are lots of little local gems!) but just something to keep in mind if planning on exploring many parts of Tokyo.

Loved this property! It is so nicely decorated, and it was wonderful to smell the flowers when walking in. The whole place was squeaky clean. We loved listening to music on the record player as well. Close to train station.

The host was most kind and helped us figure out where to park nearby, since the parking spot at the property could only accommodate small cars. There were also many helpful amenities like yukata, toothpaste, and big towels.
