The place is 50m away from all the street noise, almost makes you feel in the middle of the jungle. the room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. Saman even helped us to arrange a Safari with another couple, so the price was lower than anywhere else. We saw several elephants and birds in the tour, too.

Mashi and Sanka really made me feel welcome and did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. From helping plan my itinerary, to helping arrange my transport and tours, everything was so smooth. I had a very comfortable stay in what seemed like a new but very cozy room which had its own bathroom, AC, and other necessities. Their Sri Lankan breakfast was also a highlight. It tasted amazing and allowed me to socialize with their family and other guests. It was in a very central but quiet location too. Close enough to the town for easy access to restaurants and attractions like Lion Rock, but quiet enough to get a good nights rest. I really enjoyed my stay in their home and I’m grateful for how they took such great care of all their guests.

Anji and the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful! Very nice and clean rooms, toilets, and facilities! The roof top lookouts were fantastic. Had the most relaxing time of my trip in Sri Lanka in one of them. Located close to the attractions.

Amazing accommodation. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning was great and there were lovely areas to relax and have breakfast by the pool. The food was really outstanding, the staff also offered a cooking class - the results were amazing. It is in a great location 👌

Great homestay option - the owner and her family are kind and hospitable. The meals are huge with lots of options. Hot water and wifi work well. Just FYI, I misread the booking and thought that dinner was included along with breakfast, but it's not included in the booking.

Kumari and her family gave us the most wonderful warm welcome on arrival. Such a joy to meet her family. Delicious juice on arrival and amazing breakfast each morning. The Jungle lodge is so peaceful and tranquil at the end of a busy day touring. The lush gardens are immaculate and full of wildlife to view from your comfortable decking. We experienced Kumari’s fascinating Cooking Demonstration and so enjoyed the amazingly delicious end result! Kumari is such a talented cook explaining her methods so patiently and handed down through the generations. Thoroughly recommend! Other dishes are delicious too. The room is so comfortable and clean. Such a peaceful nights sleep in the jungle.
