Very friendly and welcoming owner. I was served dinner even though the restaurant was just about to close, plus the owner prepared some breakfast at my room so I could make an early start the next morning. My room was very comfortable, perfectly cleaned and newly refurbished.

The room was very spacious, clean, modern and we felt like at home. The bathroom was very nice, beautifully designed and warm. They were changing our towels regularly even when we didn't put them on the floor. Plus, all the towels and linen smelled amazing. We visited in December and the owner made sure our room was already nice and warm when we arrived, which is a huge plus. The staff was always kind and helpful, their coffee is delicious and we could also use the sauna. There is also a nice balcony. It was a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful accommodations, exceptional dinners...fresh local ingredients, absolutely delicious Slovenian dishes prepared perfectly! Had a really thoughtful conversation with the owner about the history of the area, who was able to share perspectives of Slovenians who stayed in the region after WWII. (My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.
