This is our second time at YHA Hawkshead. It is a beautiful place and alot to offer in surroundings. Esthwaite lake views while walking down the hostel away from hawkshead village are amazing. Far sawrey area is so beautiful. We love the place and staff. Excellent value for money.

Stuart who checked us in and who was there every evening was lovely and incredibly kind. The view from the room was of the lake and lovely. The self service kitchen was clean and well stocked.

Located in Elterwater and with World of Beatrix Potter reachable within 9.3 miles, Elterwater Hostel has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen.
