Superb place to stay. Lots of character, beautiful views and nice walks around. Dipthi the manager was very helpful and professional. We only had one nights stay and would like to have stayed for much longer. The evening meal was delicious and would definitely recommend it. Lovely breakfast sitting in the garden enjoying the company of everyone there and the lovely views. Very peaceful and relaxing place. My friend had a room to himself and I slept on a bunk bed in the shared male room. It was very comfy and I had a great nights sleep.

I loved the location of the hostel. I would say if anyone is looking for a calm stay with no touristy buzz, Door to Nirvana is the place for you! I genuinely did not expect it to be this beautiful with serene views. Worth appreciating how well the owners have kept the property and how well they treat the guests. Akhil (the hostel host) even helped me with a detailed itinerary and the DOs & DONTs of the area. One can spend time walking in any direction from the hostel and you'll be exposed to wide spread green fields of tea plantations. I stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm and I must say the size of the dorm was pretty decent. Usually hostels make large capacity dorms too cramped but this one was among the best I've seen.
