Awesome hostel at an awesome price. Comfortable rooms and beds. Very attentive staff. The super cool pool is an awesome place to chill during the hot afternoons. Located on a quite and safe street and there are many food options within walking distance.

AC was cold and made the room comfortable to stay in. Wifi was fast and stable. Staff were friendly. Overall, I would recommend for a 1- or 2-night stay. All you'd need for a backpacking trip.

They use key card for doors which will make you safe. I slept in their 8-bed dormitory (which is Php500), the room and beds are clean; it gives you an old type vibe because their floor and double deck bed is made of wood. They also have one socket and one light for each bed. They also provide lockers. The shared bathroom is clean. The location is near CO2. Co-working space which is 11-15minutes of walking towards airport. It’s 1hour walk if you will go to the port and downtown.

Incredibly cheap dorm for such a nice dive center. Equipment was in pristine condition. Food was delicious, albeit, a bit expensive if you travel on a budget.

These guys are simply magicians. Everyone comes there mainly for the sharks, and thanks to them we managed to get on the first boat. As a result, we were the very first ones to reach the sharks. I don’t know how they do it, but they do it really well. Everything else was very pleasant too: the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Jomar for his excellent communication skills with clients. 👍

We had the best stay here! This small quiet hostel is in the perfect location if you have come to Oslob to see the whale sharks. It's right opposite the entrance to the walk in tickets but also if you want to explore it's an easy 15 mins motorcycle or TukTuk ride into Oslob town. We found Oslob so charming and authentic, all the people are so welcoming and friendly. Ken who is the main host at Way Shack is brilliant. He made our 2 nights stay in Oslob so relaxing and helped us with everything. He has good English so easy to communicate with and is very professional and personable. The room is basic but clean and comfortable with a large space for luggage.
