Hostels in Arusha

This is one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Staff were super friendly and the place was super clean despite being on a farm. So much to learn and so many fun things to do on the farm like feeding the cows. They give a free tour around the property which was so fun.

Beautiful decorated comfortable room staff was super helpful and the dinner and breakfast were very good!

The hostel is great value! The room was comfortable and clean. The hostel is cozy and has a lot of areas to relax in. Awesome there is a restaurant on site. Staff were super kind! Bonus that there were cats there and beer was cheap! I’d def recommend if you’re staying in Arusha!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal felt like it was prepared with great care and fresh ingredients, offering local flavors. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the biggest highlights was how well they arranged all the transportation for our tours and airport pickups/drop-offs. After a long day out, it was great to come back to such a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I'll definitely be back! Asante sana!

This hidden gem is amazing! The vibe was chill, the family was extremely friendly, especially the owners' young daughters and dog. We arrived late and hungry, but the chefs had wonderful options at affordable prices. We even had leftovers the following day. Due to my mother's disability, the owner quickly switched our room to a ground floor location. Value was incredible!

I loved the fruit trees in the yard!!!! The staff was beyond helpful and made me fell at home all the time. The owner invited to his table for lunch and had his drive show me around town. GREAT SMILES!!!

Property is very private, attractive and well maintained Cooked fresh breakfast at the time we requested. Mona greeted us warmly even when we arrived very late.

Paradise! Love this place:) if you want to experience the real life of living in the nature with the locals, it's your place. Very affordable. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is great 😊 The hole place is like a megical forest located on the mountains area of Arusha. There is a beautiful river within 3 minutes walking distance and waterfall 10 minutes walking distance. Lake Duluti is 10 minutes driving and the town is 20. They will assist you with anything you need :) Highly recommend.

Our stay at Villa Poa was lovely! We stayed for 6 nights, 3 on each side of a Safari. Lucy and Naima were so kind making us breakfast each morning and even making sure that we got fruit to go after the close of official breakfast hours. The location was also perfect, we were happy to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of town.

David, the Masai guy who runs the place, is one of the best people I have met in the whole East Africa. He is dependable, quick, attentive and available anytime you need him. Very good value for the price. Hot water, mosquitoe net and good breakfast. Totally recommended.
