I have booked 2 nights and stayed 4. Great hospitality, Max is an excellent host. The place is clean and has a comfortable common area and garden. The beach was around 1-2 min away by walk, it was not crowded and there were some trees for shadow in the afternoon. I really enjoyed my stay.

This is the kind of place that feels like a home. It’s comfortable and clean. The owners are so kind. The guests respectful and fun to socialize with. The breakfast is ample and the Wi-Fi excellent. Centrally located to Centro, the airport, the beach and all other places on the island. I wish all hostels were more like this!

The Search House is an absolute gem! The place has a cozy camp-house vibe while still offering great facilities. The private rooms are amazing and very reasonably priced, and the best part — it has direct access to the beach! The staff are super friendly, and a special shout-out goes to Bia, whose energy and vibe can brighten anyone’s day. The hostel has a separate lockers area, which means guests aren’t disturbed when people pack up early in the morning — such a thoughtful detail. I also loved the beautiful shared spaces. There’s a great area for guests to gather and do activities, and the shared kitchen is very well equipped, making it easy to cook and socialize.
