Against my previous experience with a hostel, Samesun blew my expectations out of the water. It was lovely being there, everyone was so nice, the place had a modern feel, was clean and the staff were lovely.

A lovely hostel in a great location! Sometimes hostels have a lot of rooms, and very little space for all of those guests to hang out. However, Dancing Bear Inn was perfect. There weren't too many guests, and there were plenty of different areas to sit and hang out which was great! Our room was really bright and comfortable, the whole hostel was very clean and all of the staff were amazing and super friendly.

Painted Turtle Guesthouse was awesome. The kitchen and the communal space was very clean and spacious. Location was exceptional. John was wonderful providing great recommendations on hikes and so helpful with any questions I had.

Booked this place almost at the last minute, but glad that we did. Great value for money if youre driving around the banff/BC area. Golden has a unique quiet charm. Theres a lot of nice spots for coffee and food. The rooms are clean and well kept.
