The hostel is located in a superb area. Very close to important places like Trinity College, and a reasonable walking distance to tram and bus stations that will get you anywhere, including the airport, for very cheap.

The check in was quick and the staff was amazing, all staff in the bar and the ladies during breakfast were great too. The room was nice and the bathroom was larger than I though it would be. The location has so many things near it, like Jameson, Guinness, and lots of food options and a Tesco.

The staff was really nice and helpful. It was my first time staying at a hostel and now I can't wait to go back. Besides, the people at my room were really friendly, obviously that is going to change every time, but the general atmosphere of the place really helped out on that.

Without flattery, one of the best hostels in Ireland, cleanliness, good reception, great room, I have been to other places in Dublin, but if I knew of a hostel like Jacob's, I would have booked my whole days in it. Thanks to all the workers. You are special

This is a hostel that feels like a shared apartment with kind roommates. Rooms are quiet with 2 bunkbeds each. Big kitchen with balcony/terrace.

Great location for town, we got upgraded from a private twin room with a shared bathroom to a private 4 bed dorm with an en-suite. The room was clean, beds comfy and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was good, just toast, cold meat, cheese, fruit, salad and soup but a great addition to the already cheap stay.

I liked that I could stay in a hostel room with just my friends, made me feel more at ease with staying in a hostel for the first time. Also liked that although we arrived before check-in, we were able to store our luggage in the storage room so we could still explore before checking in. Great location for Dublin City centre too, and easy enough to also get public transport to other areas.

Staff were super friendly and approachable and met some really great people here. A very social hostel with daily events like walking tours, pub quizzes, and bar crawls. Curtains and lights at every bed and a full length mirror in the room. Breakfast was simple (cereal, toast, some cold meat, and cheese) but free. Great location to explore from and felt safe walking back at night. Also very easy to get the airport bus to and fro.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Really clean and comfortable. The bunk bed set up is brilliant - all feels very private and safe. It was quiet at night, I never had to queue for the showers and the lounge / dining and study rooms are excellent. It’s a short walk into town and right by a bus stop. Lots of nice places to eat and drink just minutes away.
