Really nice place to stay in Hiroshima, really close to the main train station, easy walking to see the city. Also the place is really nice, people working there was really helpful and with a nice vibe.

Self check-in was easy and convenient. Dorms very clean, quiet and private. Great location - right along the Shimanami Kaido and close to large grocery stores, convenience store, restaurants and things to see in Setoda. Ample bicycle parking and bikes are allowed in the room if you need somewhere more secure to store your bike! Kitchenette is well stocked with dishes and a microwave, and there are vending machines with hygiene products and food plus a change machine. Kitchenette, shower, and bathrooms were very clean when I arrived. Fully booked the night I stayed but still very quiet!

I enjoyed the reception and welcome at check in. The place is an old traditional Japanese place, but it’s been kept very nice and clean and the facilities like bathrooms are all renovated. There is a very nice lounge and kitchen. There are tea and coffee, self service. It’s almost in front of the ferry port, and in walking distance (~10 minutes) to Kousanji (temple) and the hill of hope.

Well located in the center of Hiroshima, RED HELMET House & Sports Bar Hiroshima is within a 11-minute walk of Myoei-ji Temple and 0.6 miles of Hiroshima Station.

The place is greatly located, it has a big common area and a complete kitchen within the same floor of the room. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the bed comfortable. The best of Red Helmet is the staff. They gave me a warm welcome; received a package for me and gave it to me when checking in; and I forgot something at the hotel and they went above and beyond to send it over. I would definitely go back to Red Helmet and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Hiroshima!

A lovely hostel with great facilities. Very clean shared bathroom facilities. Lovely cafe/bar area. Perfect location, walking distance to the peace park. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Best hostel we stayed in.
