Having spent some time in a very small hotel room in Tokyo it was great to have plenty of room. There was a nice lounge area where we could talk to other guests and a spacious l, well equipped kitchen. There was a great supermarket just ten minutes walk away (Ogden). Lake Kawaguchi was about 400 yards away where we got a great view of Mount Fuji. So long as you are ok sharing the facilities with other guests, I would thoroughly recommend this place. I should mention that we stayed in a private room rather than a dormitory. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It's so close to the station and the view of Mt Fuji was amazing. The rooms are small but very comfy and clean. It's near a 711 and a Lawson and has lots of Bike rentals nearby. They let you deposit your luggage for the day so you can sightsee without having to pay for coin lockers. Overall such good value.
