"Everything about Gotemba is excellent and magical. Gotemba is one of the most significant epicenters for adventure and sightseeing in all of Japan. It is of course an exceptional gateway to hiking and adventuring on Mount Fuji using the Gotemba, Subashiri and Fujinomiya 5th Station traiheads. Hakone-Yumoto onsens/spas and Lake Ashi are also right in the area. Free shuttle buses offer a 20 minute ride straight to the Famous Gotemba Outlets if shopping for 15 hours is what you are in the mood for. Don't forget Odawara Castle just down the way or Fuji-Q and the Fuji Speedway just up the way, to name a few. Gotemba ROCKS! Mount Fuji and the Osunabashiri descending trail are really the #1 world class attraction among many. Furthermore, all the special local people who support all the vast Gotemba opportunities are the best and truly loved."

"So many things to do all around the lakes. So many hidden treasures. Nemba Village near Lk. Saiko is extraordinary. I recommend renting bicycles around Lake Kawaguchi-ko. And seeing the Pagoda near the house, for example. The temple at the base of Mt Fuji (on the way to Lake Yamanaka-ko is a must. And if you like amusement parks, Fuji Q is right there!"

"Decent restaurants, affordable hotel with good breakfast. We ate big lunch at kura Sushi Fujinomiya, was good fun and orders delivered by conveyor although a struggle because of language even with our Tranlator app and some help from the ladies who speak no english. Don't be in a hurry. Loved Shiraito Falls, and on our morning visit it was not too overloaded and lots of great views and photos"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Everything exceeded our expectations from the spotless cleanliness to the cozy, homelike atmosphere of the space. It's in a great location, tucked away on a quiet street at the base of Mount Fuji. There are also two golf courses nearby which look great. The space was beautifully maintained, had character, and they even had a snack and drink counter with very generous prices. We really enjoyed having our morning coffees from the living room balcony with uninterrupted views of Mount Fuji. The hosts are very responsive and welcoming, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It's clear they put a lot of care into creating a great experience for their guests. They also offer Mount Fuji hiking tours which I am very excited to try next time I visit! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay."

New property on a hill with great views. Property was very quiet & clean. The room itself was amazing. Lots of space for our party of 5. The private bath was a hit but the deck was the best part! The hotel is a short & easy walk to Gora Station. We left a bag & the hotel staff promptly mailed it back to our house. I would definitely stay here again!
